The article tentatively explores the transformation and optimization of learning style. Through such research methods as literature search, survey method, experimental method, individual analysis and multiple modeling, the author probes into the definition of learning style from various angles and defines learning style from the point of view of teaching behavioral practice after analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of traditional learning styles and the relationship among current learning styles. At the same time, the author puts forward that learning style possesses the characteristic of initiativeness, independence, uniqueness, and experience, dissects the distinction and connection between learning style and learning method, learning principle, and learning style, and analyzes in depth the dimensionality of learning style and establishes vividly new model of learning style through modeling principle, on the basis of which the author reclassifies learning style through multiple dimensionality, namely, the property of independence-investigation, of independence-cooperativeness, and of investigation- cooperativeness.In this article, owning to catching hold of the due particularity and dimensionality of learning style and through theoretical research and actual teaching practice, the author comes up with a theory that improving traditional learning styles, optimizing the combination of current learning styles and establishing new learning styles is the fundamental approach of the transformation and optimization of learning style. On the basis of exploring the selection of learning style, the author brings forward the method of improving traditional learning styles and optimizing the combination of current learning styles. As one of the emphases of the article, the author, in the process of practice, feels after and conceives of a new teaching style, i.e. learning style of formativeness, and elaborates it in details. In the end, the author discusses some controversial questions.
