The Students' Participation In The Biology Teaching And Research

The student-and learning-centered education is the core of the quality education. In view of this, I wish to make some efforts from the angle of biology teaching, hoping it will be of some help.The first part of this master thesis defines some basic concepts concerning the subject, the individual development and the student-and learning-centered education, then describes psychologically and philosophically the theoretical background to this educational idea came into being.The second and the third part discusses the importance of implementing this new approach and then brings forward some effective measures to meet the actual emergent need in teaching.The fourth part, based on the theories about the student-and-learning-centered education, as well as the author's own teaching experiences, it provides some effective approaches in biology teaching.The fifth is a case analysis on one of the author's on-the-spot classes that won the first prize in the National Biology Teaching competition.The last section of this paper provides some guidance references and for biology teaching. This is the aim of the master thesis.
