| This thesis deals with the problems of teaching models in secondary vocational school. Problems like poor teaching quality and students' lowly interest in studying have been the hinder in the road of vocational education development. For a long time they have harmed the image of vocational education greatly. Although the reforms of curriculum and teaching in vocational schools have made a rapid progress since 1990's, most of them focused on the design of curricular and the compilation of the teaching material. On contrast they concerned little in the field of teaching which makes the teaching as the last obstacle in way to success in our current curricular reform. By focusing on the teaching problem, this thesis is intended to make some contribution to the development of reform searches in vocational education and to the improvement of the teaching quality in vocational schools.Teaching problem of vocational schools is a complicated one, which deals with many aspects. And the teaching model is the key point. So the thesis pays more attention to the model problem of the teaching in vocational schools. The thesis begins with the investigation of current teaching practice in vocational schools to find out the problems of the teaching model in vocational schools. Based on the deep analysis, the grasp of basic character of vocational education and the consultation to domestic and international experience about the teaching model. This thesis poses the reform proposition of teaching models in vocational schools.The thesis is divided into five parts following:First chapter, Introduction. It states the necessity of the thesis study, sets the research range and the relative concepts, and introduces some research methods.Second chapter, Situation of Teaching in Vocational Schools and Some Reflection. It describes the result of investigation of current teaching practice in vocational schools, and based on this, it analyzes the problems existing in the teaching in vocational schools. It points out that the reform creation in teaching pattern is the only way for teaching reform in vocational schools.Third chapter, Consultation to the Teaching Models Used Home and Abroad. It introduces several influential teaching patterns which are practical in career training. It points out the consulting value of these patterns to the reform on teaching models in our vocational schools.Fourth chapter. Proposition of the Reform in Teaching Model It states the relations among several important factors, which influence the teaching models. At the same time it analyzes deeply the specialties of these factors in vocational education. Furthermore, based on successful experience home and abroad in this aspect, it poses the proposition of the teaching pattern "Activity-Instruction"Fifth chapter, Conditions of Implementing the Teaching Model. In this chapter, it further discusses the material condition, teacher conditions and policy conditions needed for carrying out the new model. |
