This article takes transformation of modern knowledge as its approach and tacit knowledge as its theme. Mainly four parts are studied in this article. The first part is the idea of tacit knowledge which is the main framework of analysis in this paper and is introduced through the illustration about the history of modern knowledge transformation. The second part is for understanding the learning idea and teaching idea from the perspective of tacit knowledge. The emphasis is put on the form of expression in modern teaching and the important function of tacit knowledge in teaching and learning ideasThe third part : two cases of study about the teaching in secondary school mathematics class. In this part, the focus is on how to construe teaching and learning processes by applying the theory of tacit knowledge. By deeply analyzing one of them, we found the problems existing in our teaching. Whereas the other case shows the activity between teacher and students as a process of acquiring explicit knowledge in which the "overflowing effect" was mostly discussed so as to make the appearance of tacit knowledge a natural process. The last part serves as a summary of the whole article and raises the problems that need further consideration and discussion.
