Psychological well-being is an important factor which can determine and indicate human beings' health. Lots of researchers with different cultural backgrounds and thinking modes have described it from different viewpoints. Furthermore, the criterion of psychological well-being is a hotspot, base point, and nodus in the researching field of psychological well-being. A criterion of psychological well-being which can be identified by a large scale of researchers has not been achieved so far, because of the following reasons: the scientific rule and classification of human beings' mentality are still under exploration. However, many researchers both at home and abroad have given hundreds of criteria of psychological well-being. After careful studying, we can find that some divaricates and deficits exist in the flourishing status of the researching on the criterion of psychological well-being. On one hand, more new criteria and theories of psychological well-being are flooding, and on the other hand, more puzzled many carry-outers feel at these conceptual, abstract and philosophical ideas, and naturally they can not put these criteria and theories into practice. The paradigm of integrated researching is clearly brought out in this article as a reply to the antinomy in the researching field of the psychological well-being's criterion. We value such a paradigm, because it is one of the best methods which can help us getting out of the previous difficulty and an inevitable answer to the tendency of modern psychology. Many ingredients like directing ideologies, methods, researchers and results should be integrated when the criterion of psychological well-being is being probed into. One experiment, the research on the criterion of psychological well-being about the Grade 2's students of Senior High Schools in Yangzhou city, is projected, designed and carried out under the paradigm of integrated research. Using quantitative methods, mainly questionnaires, we know how these students judge the criteria of psychological well-being put forward by specialists. Using qualitative methods, mainly focus group, we know how some students describe the criteria of their own psychological well-being. At last, an integrated criterion of psychological well-being about these students are formulated, they are: 1. strong will; 2. stabilization of feeling, balanced mood, optimism; 3. adequate knowing and estimation about self, individuality, treating one's own advantages and disadvantages; 4. getting well along with others; 5. necessary ability for accommodating in the society; 6. noble ideal and aspiration for living, good morality. The experiment is leading and creative, so other similar ones can refer toit.
