The psychology theories tell us the fact which is also discovered in our research that learning ability of differences between middle school students exsit objectly in every aspect and every link of teaching parts. The low efficiency in traditional teaching mainly lies in the students' having nothing to do due to different reasons and the ways they are negatively, even mistakenly treated.The contradiction between the purpose of teaching and the students' learning possibility can serve as a source of power for teaching.If these two are well coordinated, teaching can go smoothly,so can the students learning quantity. Otherwise, teaching process goes hardly, the students' development was hindied. We think,to improve teaching in a class made up of students with ability difference,the key is how to copy with the difference."stratification-teaching" is an effective and reasonable teaching strategy to resolves this problem.What's stratification-teaching? That is to design different goals, request & methods of teaching in every teaching tache according to the students' characters and requires,care students' individual difference, make every student take actively part in study, and improve them developments. According this, we lodge five important points: (1)students' stratification; (2)stratification of goal;(3)stratification of teaching process; (4)stratification of evaluation; (5)remedy and adjustment, improving by stratification. For each point, there's a guiding method accordingly. Especially we establish a new learning strategy creatively, that is: "stratification in the same quality, grouping among different qualities and cooperative study", the "BCAB" form of seat arrangement, the "ABCD" method to the geography teaching targets and the way how to avoid the negative effect bring about by students' stratification and stratification of goal.The stratification-teaching accords with the requests of the quantity education, the rule of education that we teach the students according to their characters, the theory of "zhe nearest development area", the theory of "master study", the theory of "optimization of teaching process", and the idea of cooperative study. So it makes education and teaching reform on the basis of science theory.During zhe experiments, we analysed the process and results in science using comparison method. According to time-space characters of comparison, we separately make horizontal comparison combined with vertical comparison. According to the nature of the comparison ,we adopted fixed quality combined with fixed amount comparative method. Moreover, before and after the experiment we carry out interview as well as paper investigation in order to find out the disadvantages of the traditional class-teaching and theadvantages of the stratification-teaching.By the research of the subject, we draw some conclusions. As follow: The stratification-teaching is a valid method that can improve study scores in big area, benefit to encourage the most excellent students to form their thinking character, benefit to make their bodies and minds improve evenly . By the research of the subject, we explore a teaching strategy that accords with modem educational theories, education &teaching rules; by the research of the subject, we explore a teaching strategy that accords with the spirit of lesson changing at present; by the research of the subject, we explore a teaching strategy that can realize teachers' teaching changes by changing students' study methods.The stratification-teaching is not only a kind of teaching strategy, but also a kind of teaching thoughts, which has theorical and practical meaning importantly. In theory: the practice of the "stratification-teaching" not only follow the principle that diathesic education makes people the center, but also fixs attention to reform traditional education &teaching theories; tidy and empurate experience of teaching reform and develop the theories, "make theory match more practice".
