Activities Under The Concept Of Mathematics Teaching Discussed

Activity Teaching adheres to the fundamental directive thought that activity promotes the development of students. Activity Teaching Method believes that the reality of the development of students does not come from external but through the active practice of their own. It advocates that the basic acquisition form of students is active study. And it stresses that teaching should concentrate on the cultivation of students' ability and develop their qualities integratively. On the whole, Activity Teaching plays a positive and directive role in classroom teaching.Aimed at all kinds of maladies present in mathematics teaching, from the point of activity and under the direction of Activity Teaching Methodology, this thesis will probe into the improvement of the quality of classroom teaching in middle schools. Also this thesis will discuss how to carry out the quality education in classroom teaching and facilitate the all-round development of students.There are three sections in all. The first section will include the introduction to the theory of Activity Teaching, the relationship between Activity Teaching and the quality education and the relationship between Activity Teaching and mathematics teaching in middle schools. In the second section, the writer will explain how Activity Teaching Method can direct mathematics teaching in the following aspects: create the situations for activity, emphasize experiments in mathematics, persist in Procedure Teaching, form the habit of self-examination and improve the ability of communication. In the third section, points of view are to be raised on the teacher's role in activity, mathematics teaching models by using Activity Teaching Method and the evaluation of classroom teaching.
