The thesis starts research with the theory of metacognition , discusses the relation between metacognition and chemistry study systematically and makes an all-sided exposition about the writer's way and experience on training students' metacognition in chemistry teaching . The thesis includes five parts:Part I :The theory of metacognition . Th forming and intension of the theory of metacognition are approached . The structure and characteristics of metacognition and its usage in study are discussed.Part II: The applying of the theory of metacognition in chemistry study. The concept and structure of metacognition in chemistry are discussed. Starting with the aims and characteristics of chemistry study , the writher has discussed the influence with metacognition exert to the study of chemistry, the writher has also discussed the metacognition shows in the concrete chemistry study basing on the example of the chemistry problem solving and chemistry experiment.Part III: The measurement and analysis of the level of metacpgnition . Making a form on the level of metacognition according to the reality of chemistry study , doing some metacognition level measurements and analysis on students of different levels according to the form and finding out the relation between students' chemistry study results and the level of metacognition.Part IV: Training students' metacognition. Some methods and suggestion are made from students' main status in teaching and learning , the aims and demands of the training of metacognition , the attainment of metacognition knowledge and the training of metacognition management according to the results with the theory of metacognition and the measurements of students' level of metacognition.PartV: Concluding remark. Summary evaluation on training chemiatry metacognition and forecast of research andapplying of metacognition.
