In the studies of coping styles there are different results on the age-differences and sex-differences. Furthermore, there are fewer applied researches and even the scope of them is narrow. Therefore ,the goal of this research is to try to intervene the coping styles of the special group of students from the Revision Class of Gaokao by using psychological techniques and therapies. Based on the comparison of the students from the Revision Class and the graduating students, the study finds that there is a significant advantage in positive coping in the Revision Class, and the passive coping is also significant. So the study exerts the intervention on the Revision Class, focusing on the students with fewer possitive coping and more negative coping. The ways of intervention refer to interview group psychotherapy and individual consulting. And the methods include cognition adjustment, emotion release and model identification. The results show that under the high stress to exam-failure, the two-month intervention has certain effects on choosing of coping styles of the Revision Class. As for support-seeking, the score has a significant improvement. The intervention has significant effects on boys but not girls.
