On The Generation Of Language And Its Application In Russian Teaching In Middle School

Generativity of language is one nature of language. To understand the nature of language is very important, since formulations of foreign language teaching principles, designs of teaching methods and alternatives of teaching means all depend on the knowledge of language nature. Language is a generative system. So limited language materials can generate infinite sentences. Besides helping students imamate and memorize language materials, language teaching should cultivate an ability of comprehending finite materials and expressing ideas in a creative way. Generativity of language lies in three aspects: words, sentences and contexts. Giving a careful observation on the present Russian teaching situation the paper mainly explains generativity of language and its application on Russian teaching with related theories on education and lingusistics. The purpose of this study is to improve students' language learning abilities and to enhance Russian teaching quality.The paper consists of three parts.The first part explains the theory of generativity of language. Generativity of language is one nature of language, which can be shown in different aspects of language.The second part is the man, which gives a discussion on its significance on teaching and its application on words memorizing, sentences and contexts teaching.The third part is the conclusion. From the above analysis the paper leads to a summary:First, generativity of language is one important characteristic of language, which mainly can be performed in .three aspects: words sentences and contexts.Secondly, through its important role in memorizing words, teaching sentences and contexts, generativity can help students have an active learning process and enhance the education quality.Thirdly, a complete understanding on the nature of language and thecharacteristics of generativity can have a positive effect on Russian teaching and learning. Russian teachers should renew ideas and combine linguistic knowledge with language teaching in order to improve language teaching and enhance language teaching quality.
