High School Ideological And Political Teaching To Cultivate Students' Creative Ability

It expoundsand proves the necessity, possibility and the unique advantages of doing so andadvances a new idea on a thorough innovative political teaching in senior highschools to satisfy the needs of training the students' creativity.This thesis illustrates the necessity of its idea. Cultivation of innovative abilityis a must to accomplish the disciplinary task of ideology and politics. Meanwhile, itis also a must to reflect the national will through this course. It also illustrates thepossibility of it. First, the development of students' physical and mental healthoffers good conditions to this. Second, the political lessons provide time and spacefor it. Third, its unique advantages can be seen in the following facets. It can notonly exert the functions of moral education in assuring the direction in training thestudents' creativity but also display the functions of intelligent education to serve asa guide to train the students innovative ability. Besides, it has unique advantages inthe regards of stimulating creative motives, producing democratic atmosphere andcultivating innovative personality. So, political teaching in senior high schools is ofgreat importance to develop the students' creativity.There is no specific and ready-made plans and measures in the course offostering students' creativity It can only be cultivated through overall reform inteaching if we want to solve it totally. The main channel for education is teachingand the essential way of training the students' innovative ability is by innovation ofteaching itselfIIThen how can we carry out the innovative teaching? There are several ways toconsult. First, the idea of innovative teaching is the prerequisite for training thestudents' creativity. The main purpose for teaching is to develop the students'creativity and the task of teaching will be completed smoothly while training thestudents. Everything we do in creative teaching should be valued by whether it isgood for students creative-ability-training. Second, we should bring new ideas toour teaching principles to guide our students' creative-ability-teaching. In otherwords, we should follow the good traditional teaching principles and develop them,giving them a connotation of creative teaching and adding two new principles-theencouraging principle and the exploring principle-so as to urge the students toinnovate in their own exploration. Third, We should innovate our teaching methodsin order to set a model for training the students' creativity in political courses insenior high schools. Heuristic method is the basic method in political lessons. Weshould enlighten the students not only to grasp good ways of learning politics butalso to find the good ways by themselves, which helps the students to innovate theways when they seek for them. In this aspect, I have generalized several techniquesin teaching, such as role-expeiiencing, space-leaving thought-rq,laying, drawback-listingthought-introspecting, question-removing. Fourth, we should innovate the teachingmeans to provide modern teaching aids for training the students' creativity. Fifth,we should bring forth new ideas to teaching evaluation so as to guide and promotethe political teaching, which further promotes the cultivation of the students'creativity.
