Physique is featured in the process of human life. It refers to the quality of the human body, which is the material basis of all life activities. A good physique, for the young students, is a need of the development of the state, society and their own. In order to guarantee the students’ physical health, a massive student physique and health research was conducted in our country since 1979, and then in 1985, 1991, 1995, the health research have been carried out for 7-22 aged students(including minority students) in every five years. According to the last 20 years’ national physical health survey report, since 1985, the physical health of students kept falling during the recent 28 years. National ministries issued consecutive files since 2007 to improve the physical condition of students. In 2014, the state council issued “suggestions on speed up the development of sports industry and promote the sports consumption”; it would rise the national fitness as a strategy, and schools at various levels have taken physical health of students into the work plan to strengthen practical significance on the research. Located in the border, Yunnan has fifteen ethnic minorities, since 1985,the study of Yunnan minority’s physique is only constrained by the six nations like Naxi and Dai people; the Mosuo people, because of its unique life and cultural forms(matrimonial system), rich and relevant research mainly concentrated in sociology, religion, etc; due to national identity(Naxi nationality in Yunnan) and the influence of the geographical relationship, there are fewer research focusing on the physical health condition. To strengthen the Mosuo students’ physique and health research is not only related to the economic development in Yunnan province and the stability of the frontier, but also affects the quality of life of the ethnic itself.According to the national standard of physical health monitoring, this researchsurveyed 409 students at the age of 7-16 years in Yongning town, Ninglang County, and 234 students of Pumi ethnic as the subjects.
