| Sixia is a famous Chinese educator in our country. She dedicated her life to primary school education and obtained many achievements. The accumulation of more than ten years experience in teaching contributed to comprehensive and abundant language education thought. This paper is based on research her language education thought, as far as possible to explain the content of thought systematically and exploring the practical significance of the present Chinese education development.Full article is divided into an introduction, body and conclusion, of which the body consists of three chapters.Introduction:This paper describes the research the significance of the research reviewed, presented research ideas.Chapter 1:The origin of Sixia language education thought. This section mainly elaborates her life, teaching experiences and the background of language education at that time. These factors are basis of formation of her thought.Chapter 2:The main content of Sixia language education thought. This section elaborates the content of her language education thought, including the views of language curriculum, literacy teaching, reading teaching, writing teaching and teachers* quality. She think Chinese course is the unity of the instrumental and ideological content and the goal of the Chinese course is to improve students" knowledge and ability, promote the development of moral and cultivate good habits. In the aspect of literacy teaching, she claims learning new words in the text.In the aspect of reading teaching, she claims less teaching and more practice, combining teaching and practice closely. In the aspect of writing teaching, she claims more talking and reading, which is foundation of writing. Besides, she points out that the teacher should have noble virtue and the corresponding knowledge and ability. At the same time, teachers can promote the professional development by learning, practicing and rethinking.Chapter 3:The practical significance of Sixia language education thought. This section mainly elaborates the enlightenment from her thought to present Chinese education. Firstly. we should adhere not only to the unity of instrumental and humanism but also improve the students’Chinese accomplishment in an all-round way. Secondly, we ought to persist in taking the students as the basis, starting from actual and using a variety of teaching methods. Thirdly, the teachers must set up the concept of lifelong learning and improve themselves by practicing and rethinking.Conclusion:Pointing out the deficiency existing in this research and I will continue focus on the subject to do further research in the future. |
