With the progress of era and the reform of education, teachers’ gender structure has changed dramatically. As the number of female teachers of primary and secondary schools continue to increase, the rural primary school women teachers have become an important force in the rural education. This research take the rural primary school female teachers in south-west of Shandong province as the research object, try to respect the premise of natural and social situation, comprehensive and detailed study of female rural primary school teachers’ professional development barrier factors of thorough analysis, crack resistance to promote their professional development.The research is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction. Introduced the selected topic reason, purpose and significance of research, combing the domestic and foreign research data about the rural female teachers’ professional development, to define the core concepts, expounds the theoretical basis of research needs. The second part is mainly expounds the development history of female teachers and teachers’ professional development standards. The third part main content is the investigation and analysis of current situation of primary school female teachers’ professional development in south-west of Shandong province. It from the basic situation of rural primary school female teachers, the quality of professional development situation, the situation of the management of professional development, related system situation and social culture to presents rural primary school female teachers’ professional development situation, especially to analysis the plight of their professional development. The fourth part to analyze the barrier factors behind the dilemma of the rural primary school female teacher professional development on the basis of the relevant professional knowledge and theory. It analysis from this a few aspects: the female teachers’ personal, system, management and social cultural. The fifth part, against the barrier factors, put forward the corresponding resolving strategy.
