As one of the important concepts of mathematics,function is an important mathematical objects of mathematical knowledge.Function research scope is very broad, from junior middle school to high school, simple function to complex functions,from dominant functions to contact type, from primary function to the transcendental functions.Higher mathematics is developed on the basis of the function.In the aspect of function analysis involves the range is very wide, explore the mode diversification,explore the quite rich, very deep exploration degree and already made the abstract function in the form of a specific display in front of people, encouraging people to explore about the function is more and more deep.Quadratic function as a important member of function family,It’s learning is important in high school.In expressing the motion law of nature and the nature of the relationship between the quantity, using quadratic function can obtain good effect.Before learning quadratic function, students must master a function and direct proportion function,Because of the quadratic function is the function development process of a vital point.Image that its role is essential,such as in high school learn about function will use to the quadratic function.At first, this paper mainly through to analyze the quadratic function in the junior middle school mathematics and its status in the calendar year examination, and then to analyze the teaching contents and characteristics of quadratic function, finally according to the grade nine top volume quadratic function of the three main contents in the textbooks: image and the properties of the quadratic function, quadratic function and a quadratic equation, the actual problem and the quadratic function, in view of the above content to formulate the corresponding teaching strategies.Through the teaching design research and teaching experiments,to research quadratic function teaching in junior middle school implementation process, how the teaching effect, what are the deficiencies and suggestions for improvement. The purpose is to promote students to better understand the concept of the quadratic function, to better grasp the quadratic function of the image and the nature of the related knowledge, better use of quadratic function to solve the practical problems in life, let the students get into symbolic-graphic combination thinking.
