A Study On The Textbooks Of Mandarin Writing In Taiwan 's Hanlin Edition

The writing textbook is the main resort of teaching writing and learning writing. It has a very important position and role in the teaching of mother language writing. However, for a long time, many primary school Chinese teachers can’t gain very good results when using teaching materials of Chinese writing. Some phenomena such as arbitrary teaching, objectives’ being out of focus, lack of process instruction exist and to a great extent they are relative to the fact that teaching materials don’t offer enough help to writing teaching. This dissertation study systematically primary school writing material, which is published by Taiwan Hanlin Press, a detailed comb and analysis into its structure and content, summarizing its features, to find the experience worthy of learning, looking forward to helping improve teaching materials and writing teaching as well.This paper consists of five chapters. In chapter one, it explains the reasons and meanings for doing this research, and introduces the research methods, the definition of related concepts as well as the literature review at home and abroad. The second chapter, combining the request of “Chinese Curriculum Standard” of Taiwan, and Information Processing Psychology’s classification, the “Life Education” theory and constructivism theory, discusses the theoretical basis of this research. The third chapter, describes and analyzes the structure and contents of the writing teaching materials of primary school published by Taiwan Hanlin Press. The fourth chapter, combined with relevant theoretical basis, analyzes the writing materials’ aims system, knowledge system and exercises system. In the last chapter, relying on the front research, summarizes the writing teaching materials’ characteristic of Hanlin edition, and aimed at the defects of the primary school Chinese writing teaching and teaching materials in the mainland, putting forward some practical suggestions.
