The creation of Xu Zhimo’s Goodbye Again, Cambridge is modern poetry in classical works. This poem has a wide influence and is included in the five sets of the current middle school language teaching materials. For such a well-known modern poetry, the study of this poem is what kind of research? How does the teaching material have the stipulation to the poetry teaching content? How do teachers carry out teaching practice? We should make the integration of a system of three parts found and results of the scholars, teachers, teaching materials, and take this as the foundation, summarizes about Goodbye Again, Cambridge appropriate teaching content.The author consult dozens of papers and monographs with regard to the Goodbye Again, Cambridge from two aspects of theme and artistic technique and the author will analysis academic achievements. The author also collect the five sets of the poem incorporated different materials, from teaching materials science and cell arrangement, exercises and reading system three sections to analyze the material and the presentation of teaching content. In addition, the paper also sorted the 27 papers published case teaching, analysis of teachers’ understanding of poetry emotion and interpretation of image in different cases.Hoping to find teaching content Goodbye Again, Cambridge value from the practice of teachers. At the end of this paper, by combing the above three chapters conclusion, the author can put forward some about Goodbye Again, Cambridge reasonable teaching suggestions,from the view of the poet to observe the scenery,the relationship between language form and image,and the difference between the English version and the original text.
