Currently, many cities in our country can see students in afternoon after school and during holidays, still carrying a bag to participate in extra-curricular tutoring, this kind of phenomenon we had long taken for granted, about tutoring a variety of topics to also talk to between the parents and the parents, long between students and build a communication link.However, government department of education has always stressed that to give basic education stage of the students "burden", regulations in the school study time, control the amount of homework, is in such a policy background, extracurricular phenomenon instead of completely disappeared, instead of big market, and has acted more and more intense development tendency and the reasons, every educators need to think of the problem, but the domestic scholars pay attention to this subject degree is not high, the empirical research in a few more.For this research situation. In this paper, we selected, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province as the object of the survey data, for middle school students in the city of after-school problem to explore, by referring to the existing related research results and of Yancheng City school teachers, middle school students and parents of the sampling questionnaire tune surveys and interview results, and then analyzes the status of Yancheng City middle school student extracurricular. Questionnaire survey results from the point of view, the city has more than half of the students currently attend after-school, tutoring is a universal phenomenon, which first grade in tutoring students for 85% of the total number, while the second was 75.4%, the third was 31.9%, 53.8%, high school was 37.7%, the third year is 13.2%, tutorial subjects in mathematics, English, respectively, accounting for 81.2%, 73.3%. The main way is to take part in the extracurricular tutorial agencies, the total number of 43.6% classes. Satisfaction survey for remedial effect, 69.34% of the students thinks that private tutoring has improved on their own achievements.According to the results of this survey, this paper expounds the positive influence and negative influence of extracurricular tutoring from both positive and negative sides. And then analyzes the causes of these effects, including the entrance examination system, the quality of educational resources allocation, the level of education and the concept of parents, school teachers teaching quality and so on. In the last, from three angles of the education administrative departments, school administrators and management training institutions that were put forward corresponding suggestions and countermeasures, to standardize the development of the city tutoring market, and school education to live in harmony.
