| With rapid development of economy and urbanization more and more people are coming into cities. It is of vital importance to cope with such a situation. Sports has its function in many aspects such as health improvement, entertainment, social interaction and education. Sports is irreplaceable in building a harmonious society.Jinan, the biggest city in Jinan, is very complicated in its population make-up. Many problems exist in the sports facilities in many communities; solving them not only helps the development of community sports in Jinan but also contributes to the construction and development of sports facilities in other cities. Hence, It is vital, at this stage, to do the research on the usage and status of the community sports facilities,to facilitate the comprehensive and stable development of the community sports as well as to find solutions to the problems in the development of community sports.This thesis uses the construction and development situation in Lixia, Tianqiao and Changqing destricts as objects of study. It explores the construction, management and usage of the sports facilities. The following conclusions are drawn with the help of documentation, mathematical statistics, questionnaire survey, on-site inspection and inquiry of experts.1.The total number of stadium in Jinan is large,but it’s regional distribution is uneven.Among districts in Jinan, Licheng District is the most and Jiyang County is comparative less.The number and variety of stadiums is relatively insufficient, the most prominent is the shortage of standard venues, which to a certain extent can not meet the diversified needs of the community residents.Stadium mostly built after2001, which mainly related with Jinan successfully held national games.In addition,sources of funding for sports facilities mainly by public welfare lottery grants and government investment.2.Management mode of Jinan City sports facilities is single, mainly in the public welfare way.The situation of school sports facilities open to normal people is not optimistic.The outdoor sports facilities are free to everyone, but to it’s maintenance is in poor condition.The way of indoor sports facilities in operation, open and maintenance is more humane.3.Jinan city community residents often take part in physical exercise venues for the surrounding parks and community activities grounds.The feature of peopleselecting a site to exercise is geographic nearby.Apply to sports facilities of residents in community is oriented to dance yard.Climbing in Jinan is very popular,this closely related to geographic location of Jinan City people. The time period of using community sports facilities usually after supper and in the morning, mostly in about 1 hour.One factor of affecting the residents use for sports facilities is inadequate sports facilities,another is lacking of time for people to participate in physical exercise.4.Residents of the city of Jinan are mainly not satisfied with the number and variety of outdoor community sports facilities, especially appearing queuing phenomenon of using the gym facilities at night. scientific layout and advanced degree of the sports facilities also troubled people for physical exercise. The main reason for these phenomena is the shortage of funds for sports; satisfied performance in indoor community sports facilities not only in quantity,but also in the standard fees,indicating that community residents sports consumption level is relatively low,but can do greater improvements to a higher degree.5. Jinan community residents in the scientific use of community sports facilities need to be improved.The sports facilities function with a higher level of understanding, but skilled level of sports facilities is not optimistic.Community residents in sports exercise lack appropriate guidance.6.Recommendations from construction and apply of the Ji’nan city community sports facilities, establish a relatively complete system to promote the development of community sports in Ji’nan city. |
