With the implementation of the curriculum reform, issues like how to stimulate learners’ motivation, how to cultivate learners’ interests so as to change passive learning to active learning have become the key topics that our teachers must care more in the process of the new curriculum reform. Therefore, the use of appropriate strategies to improve teaching efficiency in the physics and help students develop self-learning ability has become a problem worthy of study. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes the research background, significance, research content and methods. The second chapter describes the theoretical part of the relevant concepts and independent study. It describes the concept of "incentives" in detail, stating the physics teaching philosophy and self-learning related theories. The third chapter is mainly on theory and teaching principles of education incentives, incentive theory and analysis of relevant basis. It also summarizes the implementation of the principle of education incentives. The fourth chapter shows the incentive education in junior physics learning and makes a questionnaire in current teaching problems. It also analyzes the findings and proposes strategies and solutions which are combined with some specific research examples and analysis. The fifth chapter includes the conclusions and outlook. It shows the summary conclusions of this study and the analysis of the existence of deficiencies and prospects. This study has conducted a survey in junior middle school students which is combined with education and self-motivation theory and actively explores new ideas by teaching practice. And strive to improve the students’ interest in learning so as to enhance students’ self-learning ability and learning efficiency.
