Through the application of health diet education in current high school chemistry teaching practice,health diet education could improve students’ dietary pattern,promote health diet consciousness of high school students,reduce the disease caused by wrong diet,enhance students’ physical fitness,and lay the groundwork for learning scientific knowledge among high school students.Chemistry is a subject based on natural science, as well as a subject closely related to our life. Chemistry based on its own study characteristics and research discipline,apply health diet education in high school chemistry teaching,could guide people’s health concepts and health behaviors in a professional perspective.This paper uses case method to carry on the teaching design and case analysis on the learning focus of health diet education knowledge in high school chemistry teaching material(PEP edition),and USES interview method to carry on the interview analysis about the current situation of health diet education in high school chemistry teaching among the first-tier high school chemistry teacher in Shenyang.Through the case analysis, the results show that to a certain extent the health diet education in high school chemistry teaching can popularize the related knowledge of students,improve the students’ health diet consciousness, correct poor eating habits, set up the concept of healthy diet, stimulate the students’ interest in learning chemistry,and improve the practicability of chemical subject.According to the author’s case design research, this paper puts forward three Suggestions for high school chemistry teachers. First of all, teachers should put the health diet education as a lifelong career, constantly enrich their own knowledge of healthy diet. Secondly, teachers should find out the learning focus on health diet knowledge, so that they can ably used in daily classroom teaching. The last but not the least,teachers should find out the learning focus associated with the healthy diet education, and carry out colorful campus activities on health diet.
