Study On The Spiritual Care Of The Old People In The Rural Areas

Firstly, in this paper,i used "the status of spiritual care of the remained elderly in rural areas questionnaire"to survey in Pinghu village and Sheshang village,aims to estimate the need of the spiritual care of the remained elderly in rural areas.I found that the remained elderly in rural areas lack of spiritual care,and their needs mainly in these areas,entertainment,emotional counseling,emotional support,interpersonal communication,respect and self-realization.Secondly,based on the analysis of the feasibility and necessity of social work intervention in rural left behind elderly care services,i analyzed the advantages of the spiritual care of group social work service rural left behind elderly,mainly include, clear team goals,team member problem homogeneous,emphasizes the equal participation of the team members,interaction of team members,focus on team dynamics.Moreover,selection of rural elderly two cases to analyze the group social work services in rural areas of the spirit of caring for the elderly left behind.These two cases are"warm red sunset"——Rural left behind elderly Kangle group and "life story"—— rural left behind elderly memory of the group.Finally,combined with my two years of group social work study on the rural left behind elderly spirit care,then the process is assessed, summarized and reflected.at last the paper tries to explore group social work service rural left behind elderly spiritual care from the aims, principles, types and skills, and points out the deficiency of this research.The paper aims to improve the mental health level of the remained elderly in rural areas in China and provides a little reference for "perfecting the care service system of remained elderly in rural areas "which puts forward in the eighteen fifth Plenary Session.
