In the 21st century, with the rapid development of science and technology, much new technology and new knowledge emerges in large numbers in the field of education. Many new concepts emerge in an endless stream such as microlecture, flipped classroom,3D printer and so on. Under such background, teachers’ professional knowledge and skill is facing more and more challenges. Teachers should actively participate in activities of scientific research in education while they teach, which could help them achieve professional development constantly in order to face the challenges better. So teachers should constantly improve the ability of teaching and research and they should conscientiously study the theory of Educational Science and the law of education and teaching in order to guide the practice. At the same time teachers should carry out research by combining with education and teaching practice, and realize the sublimation of theory from practice to constantly meet the challenges of the new era.The development of information technology not only brings new idea for education, and injects new vitality for education, but also provides a good platform for the teacher professional development. Network technology could make information spread timely, amd make resource shared highly, and make communication convenient. Compared with the traditional scientific research in education, the web-based scientific research in education can make education dynamic transmitted timely, and make the resource shared highly, and make interaction convenient between teachers, which can help teachers achieve professional development better.Under such understanding and based on the research about the network platform of scientific research in education of Shaanxi province, this study explored how the web provides support service for scientific research in education and improves the efficiency of management and service of scientific research in education.This thesis is divided into seven parts in total:The first part:introduction. This part described the significance and value of this study, the research target and contents, technical route and research methods and so on in general.The second part:the research situation and the theoretical basis of the web-based scientific research in education. Firstly this part defined the connotation of scientific research in education and the web-based scientific research in education. Then this part combed the internal and foreign research status about theory and practice in the web-based scientific research in education, and analysed 34 provinces and cities’ websites of scientific research in education by content analysis. Then this part elaborated the theoretical foundation of this study.The third part:the analysis of the needs of users. The network platform of scientific research in education is which provides support service for teachers and managers of scientific research in education. In order to satisfy the needs of users better, the author designed detailedly the requirement questionnaire, and carried out the demand investigation in some primary and secondary schools in Shaanxi province.Then this part did statistic analysis of the needs of users, and preliminarily summarized the basic function module the platform should have.The fourth part:the design of platform. On the basis of the second and third part, this part detailedly designed the function module and the important database table of the front and back of this platform.The fifth part:the realization and testing of the platform. This part mainly introduced the architecture、the database used、programming language、development tools of platform and the function the platform has realized. The platform has realized functions such as the distribution of dynamic news, training materials of teacher, journal of education and research of Shaanxi province and so on, the co-construction and sharing of teaching resource and information of test research, the management of project, online interaction of users and so on. In this part the test of platform was introduced, and the author mainly did the unit testing and integration testing for platform, and the test results were displayed as normal.The sixth part:the research of application of the platform. In this study the network platform was used in a small scale. Then the author investigated the effect of this platform. And based the feedback of users, this part summarized suggestions for improvement of this platform.The seventh part:the summary and outlook of the research. This part firstly summarized the entire work during research, and pointed out the innovation and the deficiencies, and then make the follow-up studies clear. Compared with the current network platform of scientific research in education of Shaanxi province, the innovation of this study is mainly to realize two functions:the co-construction and sharing of resource and online management of subject. Not only the system administrator can share resource, but also the users can share resource. The users not only use the resource founder but also provide the resource. And the platform also implemented many functions to improve the efficiency of management and service of scientific research in education. In this platform the project could be online published, declared, reviewed and so on.
