| "Photography Basics" is a compulsory course for Educational Technology Majors. This course focuses on training students to master the basic techniques of photography and visual presentation, as well as enhance their aesthetic awareness. In recent years, new technology and equipment develop rapidly and play a more important role in the field of Educational Technology. This leads to new requirements and innovations for teaching. Therefore I believe we should put more emphasis on the role of "Basic Photography" course in the educational technology curriculum. In this thesis, literature and empirical research are adopted as the main research method, based on my own teaching experience in Huai’yin Normal University. It first summarizes the problems encountered during teaching, then discusses the value of this course, and finally put forward the suggestions for teaching activities and curricular structures.Chapter 1 elaborates on the value, definition, background of this research. It makes a brief introduction of the current research status home and abroad and presents the research methods of this article. The Chapter 2 describes the teaching function of "Basic Photography", that is to improve the skill of photography, to enhance aesthetic awareness and humanities. Chapter 3 analyzes the teaching objectives, the current teaching plans, textbook and material of "Basic Photography" which serves as the reference for course reform. Chapter 4 is based on long time teaching experiences and case study, the author believe that using web technology to enhance "Photography Basics" teaching is an inevitable trend due to the rapid development of information technology. this paper demonstrates the advantages of online teaching of "Photography Basics" in Huai’yin Normal University. Chapter 5 is the author’s teaching reflection and innovative research on teaching "Photography Basics". The innovation of paper is to propose new course content, teaching methods and reform suggestions. This article is intended to provide overall teaching suggestions and ideas on the course of "Photography Basics", in order to enhance students’ overall ability. |
