Reading in training students’ language comprehensive quality plays a key role. With the deepening of new curriculum reform, the reading teaching is being optimized. Reading assignment is integrated into the reading teaching,both of which form a complete teaching system. They are aimed to improve the students’ reading ability and reading level.However, when reading teaching has been taken more and more seriously by teachers, reading assignments has not cause enough attention by teachers and students,especially in primary school. Because the primary students are younger and they are influenced by many examinations,so their reading assignments has many problems,for example, the content of the reading assignments are simple and boring, the form of reading assignments are single,the evaluation of reading assignments are in good order, the reading assignments methods are not scientific and reasonable. These problems are hidden behind the reading assignments, having serious impact on the students’ improvement of reading ability. Therefore, if we want to improve the reading ability of students,we not only find problems in reading teaching, but also optimize on the design of reading assignments.It is important for the long-term development of the students’ reading ability.Based on this, this article first took the reading teaching and assignments as the breakthrough point, combed the domestic and foreign research on the issue of the status quo.Then it expounded the basis theory,principles and standards of reading assignments, and afterward through the interview of teachers, students and the analysis of case design,it analyzed the nature of the problems of reading assignments from the amount of reading assignments, the content of the reading assignments, the form of reading assignments, the evaluation of reading assignments and so on. At last,it proposed some reading assignments strategies based on the related theory and the problems of the reading assignments. |
