Through ten years research and practice. We have achieved remarkable results in the curriculum reform of Chinese basic education. The schooling model of "Nine-year persistent system" has been deeply rooted in the human mind. However, in the process of practical teaching, many teachers in Grade Six of elementary school realize that they are not familiar with the teaching requirements or the teaching objectives of middle school, not to mention they know more details about the requirements of the students’ study habits or their capabilities of learning. Most of the Chinese teachers in Grade Six didn’t put the emphasis on the overall quality and the long-term growth of the students, they didn’t consider too much about the connection of Chinese learning from Grade Six to Grade Seven.On the base of this education status, this paper compares the differences between the teaching objectives during the third period and fourth. It also analyses the teaching material in each grade. What’s more, author invited some teachers and students in Grade Six and Seven to complete the questionnaires about Chinese learning and teaching. After analyzing this current situation and the cause. Author put forward the practical consideration on Chinese reading and composition. To attach great importance to silent reading, know clearly about the teaching objectives, integrate different teaching materials, take effective conversation and strengthen reading literacy are all the major way to attain the connection of the teaching of reading; To observe carefully by your heart, combine reading and writing, active experience, create one’s personal expression and by seriously revisioned are the effective way of teaching assignments.All in all, Grade Six is the last stage of elementary school.. The teachers of Grade Six have to be more professional. Not only they need to know the teaching objectives in different periods during the teaching activities of elementary school, but also they are supposed to know the curriculum standards of middle school. On the other hand, we should try to learn the contents of teaching material in Grade seven. It requires that our Chinese teachers’must try to consolidate and improve their quality of teaching. At the same time, we must pay more attention on the connection of Chinese teaching material from elementary school to middle school. We must learn as much as we can from the teaching activities during the process of our daily teaching.,in order to help the students smoothly transit their study.
