The environment is the foundation of human survival and development. In today’s society,the human not reasonable production and living activities lead to the ecological environmentworsening. Environment problem, in addition to relying on scientific management andadvanced management technology, the most fundamental is to wake up the environmentalconsciousness of all citizens, and citizen ideas, improve environmental consciousness, themost important is to implement and promote environmental education.Besides the introduction and conclusion, the full text is divided into six parts:The first part is the related concept definition. On a summary of related research, and putforward the "environment", the understanding of the concept of "environmental education".The second part of the meaning of environmental education for middle school historyteaching. From helps deepen the moral education function of history discipline and for studentsto understand the historical issues discussed both provide new thinking dimension.The third part is the goal of environmental education in middle school history teaching.First introduces environmental education purpose, education on the different historical periodthe international goal of development, development, and then the targets from knowledge,skills, values goal three aspects in this paper, the history of environmental education goal.The fourth part for environmental education in middle school history teaching shouldfollow the principles. From the principles of scientific, permeability, practical principle, theprinciple of local sex, subject subjectivity principle in six aspects.The fifth part as the problems that exist in the middle school history teaching. From currentenvironmental education in middle school history teaching material content is relatively scarce,promotion to be part of the environmental education of middle school history teacher literacyand education environment evaluation system is not sound in six aspects.The sixth is divided into the main way of environment education in middle school historyteaching.
