As part of the convergence of education, junior and senior high school convergence has been a concern of the front-line teachers and experts. I decided that the subject of convergence study of the junior and senior high school curriculum standards as a starting point, and then explore the middle and high school teaching about the discipline of history cohesion, causes, solving strategies and other related topics.According to the results of previous studies, I summarize the reasons and some resolution strategy to the problem:First, the different requirements of curriculum standards and textbook presentation style; Second, the differences in teaching methods and the students’ ability requirements; Third, the obstacles in students’ transformation of the mode of learning. And some strategies:First, change teaching philosophy is the premise of convergence of the junior and senior high school; Second, the reform of the middle high school examination system is doing the work of convergence-oriented; Third, focus on strengthening students’academic ability is a key breakthrough in solving the problem of convergence.On the other hand, I proceed to selected "bright modern culture" and "world literature and art since the 19th century" from the PEP history textbook, described the similarities and differences, the possibility of convergence of the middle and high school curriculum standards, textbooks, and teaching convergence strategy contemplated.According to above for PEP history textbook piece of content analysis on the world of literature and art since the 19th century, I tried to rearrange the teaching materials, in line with the concept of Global History, to change the current layout of the high school textbooks mode. I hope to make a useful discussion and constructive comments on the theory and practice of the middle and high school teaching convergence.
