Objective:This study was implemented extracurricular physical exercise intervention for the simple obesity pupils, to explore the "small force combining aerobic exercise" simple obesity pupils body shape, body function and physical quality, to provide strong experimental evidence for overweight and obese students improving obesity status, enhancing physical fitness and to provide a reference for school sports in enhancing the role of physical health in obese pupils. Methods:In this study, Yangzhou City, a fifth-grade boys in obese subjects, in accordance with the principle of voluntary control group were randomly divided obese control group of 14 and obese exercise intervention group of 20. Before exercise intervention unified test their body shape (height, weight, body mass index BMI, percentage of body fat, waist, hip), physical function (lung’s capacity and vital capacity weight index), physical fitness (50 m running, shuttle running 50* 8, 1min skipping). After 12 weeks’small force combining aerobic exercise intervention, the same measure physical health indicators, and statistical analysised the measure results of interventions before and after. Results:(1) The rate of overweight and obese of boys of a primary school in Yangzhou City was 19.25%, that of girls was 13.2%, the overweight and obese of boys was more than that of girls. (2) Compared with the normal-weight students, the weight and body mass index (BMI) valuesof the obese student average height were very significantly higher (p<0.01); no significant difference between obese and normal weight students in vital capacity (p>0.05), but the vital capacity weight index was significant lower than that of the normal weight group (p<0.01); The scores of 50 meters running,50* 8 shuttle running and lmin sitting-up in obese students were significant lower than those of normal weight students (p<0.01). The score of 1min skipping in obesity students was significantly less than that of the normal weight students (p<0.05), The results of Sit and Reach were no significantly difference (p>0.05). (3) the results of obesity boys before and after the exercise intervention, compared with before the intervention, after 12 weeks of exercise intervention, the body weight, the BMI,the waist circumference, the hip circumference and the waist-hip ratio of intervention group of obese boys were significantly decreased (p<0.01); The lung’s capacity and vital capacity weight index also increased very significantly (p<0.01); The scores of the 50-meter running and 1min skipping had significantly increased (p<0.05), The score of 50* 8 shuttle running performance had improved, but there was no significant difference (p>0.05).Conclusions:(1) The rate of overweight and obese of pupils of a primary school in Yangzhou City was higher, and with the grade of growth, the rate of overweight and obesity has increased, In addition to the average height of, the obesity pupils were higher than the normal-weigh pupils, the physical function, and physical fitness of obesity pupils were worse than those of the normal-weigh pupils, especially the vital capacity weight index of body function and the physical power, speed endurance performance of physical fitness were particularly evident. (2) 12 weeks extracurricular physical exercise could effectively reduce body weight and body fat of the obese students, improved body shape of the obese children; while effectively enhanced lung capacity, improved the speed, strength and endurance fitness leve of the obese students.
