Core strength training has been adopted by more and more coaches and athletic groups. This research combing the sport features of basketball makes a training scheme for core strength training and analyzes whether the core strength training could have impact on the physical qualities of athletes to seek the evidence of why core strength has been brought in basketball training. The subjects divided into experimental group(group A) and control group(group B). First of all a comparison between the experimental group and control group namely the group A and group B, was conducted. The A4 and B4 was taken out as the example to check the discrepancy among their indexes, then a profound comparison within both groups was made, namely, A1, A4 and the B1, B4. The results are as follow:(1)Research results of equal-length muscle strength: there is a increasing trend for both group A and group B. In terms of backward extension, leftward bend, left circumflex and right circumflex, the P index of A1 and A4 are less than the a volume with an oblivious discrepancy. While the P index of both B1 and B4 are less than a volume with an oblivious discrepancy. Comparing A4 to B4, there is an oblivious discrepancy among the forward bend muscle strength, backward extension muscle strength, and the left circumflex.(2)The results of balance ability. Both group A and group B present a increasing trend. The indexes of A1 reflect a gradual ascending tendency, with a increase after the experiment, whose P index 0.000 which is less than a volume, showing an oblivious discrepancy. In terms of left leg, the P index of Group B is less than 0.05 which shows an oblivious discrepancy between the before and after experiment. This is a figure of statistic importance. While the P index of right leg is more than 0.05 with a small discrepancy which carries less statistic meaning. Comparing A4 and B4, the P index of left leg is 0.02 which is also less 0.05 with an oblivious discrepancy, and the right leg of 0.03 less than 0.05 with an oblivious discrepancy.(3)In terms of flexibility, both group A and group B show a increasing tendency. The comparison between A1 and A4 present a P index of 0.91 which is more than 0.05, therefore it is of less statistic importance. P index is 0.916 which is more than 0.05 and of less statistic importance. The contrast of A4 and B4 shows a P index of 0.98 compared with a volume which is more than 0.05 thus it is a figure of less statistic importance.(4)The experimental results of stable muscle strength present all the index of the four experiments have been reached to the A level in terms of the eight abdominal bridge. Here two conclusions were made: firstly, the training of core strength contributes to the physical quality of basketball players. Secondly, the training of core strength contributes to lessen the strains of basketball players. Following are some advices:(1) the increase of researching subjects to improve the reliability(2) the reduction of subjective factors to guarantee the safety(3) an appropriate arrangement of training to increase the accuracy(4) the increase of the investment on the researching funds to ensure the diversity.
