Along with our country higher education school enrolment, expanding education funds investment increasing, the education of institutions of higher learning cost efficiency analysis has gradually to the attention of the academics and universities in China. At the same time, many colleges and universities began to expand the performance evaluation of our analysis, and tried to through comparison with other universities and other outstanding colleges, to improve their own education teaching level, shorten the gap. Take this opportunity to first in this paper, from two aspects both at home and abroad on the current performance evaluation system are analyzed, and then puts forward the index system of existing problems, and finally puts forward the solution. Choose the following three countries from abroad level of performance evaluation system of colleges and universities is analyzed, respectively is: first to a university performance evaluation of the performance evaluation of universities in the United States, one of the most successful countries Britain and Australia. Domestic Angle respectively chose the Chinese university alumni association net annual rankings released in the use of evaluation index, evaluation index used in the Wuhan university college rankings released and China academy of education in 76 colleges and universities directly under the ministry of education for examination related indicators. Through the elaboration and analysis of the three agencies to spy on the status quo of performance evaluation in colleges and universities. Based on Chinese and foreign governments and institutions after comparing analysis of the performance evaluation system in colleges and universities found that all index system in common drawback- all focus on output, regardless of the input, without measuring the efficiency of resources.
