| Children’s education is very important for the children themselves, the family, andeven the nation. With the coming of the information-based economy age, theeducational environment becomes more and more complicated, which puts forwardshigher and higher requirement to the quality of education. To deal with thesophisticated educational environment and the onerous educational task, support fromthe nation, the educational authorities, and the local government is vital. Also,teachers have to strengthen the cooperation and communication with society andparents in order to better realize the educational mission in the poverty-strickenmountain area.The education status and home-school communication and cooperation in theboarding middle school of the poverty-stricken mountain area are not going on verywell. These are manifested in the following aspects: the lack of theories; thelower-level and the narrow-content of cooperation; the need for projects, for scientificstudy and for the continuous efforts. This thesis mainly pay attention to the status ofthe home-school cooperation in the poverty-stricken area, based on a research donein Lefeng, Xuanwei city in Yunnan province. By analyzing the causes of theseproblems, the author would give some strategies accordingly. This paper is dividedinto six chapters.In the first part, the author gives his reason for the selection of this topic; definesthe core concept; summarizes studies on this topic; introduces the theory which thispaper is based on,the study tools and the research method is made, as well as the ideasand the methods of research; and finally illustrates the significance of this paper.For the second part, the first is a introduction of the case study, then the authordoes a research on the status of the home-school cooperation in the middle school inLefeng, Xuanwei city in Yunnan province. Then the author gives an analysis on theresult of the research according to the interview with some students, teachers andparents as well as the leadership of school and society..The third chapter, the author has been reasoning for the problems reflected in the research.The fourth chapter, resolutions to these problems which exist in the home-schoolcooperation in the boarding middle school of the poverty-stricken mountain area aresuggested.Finally, the author has a brief summary of this paper. |
