In the1980s， especially since the reform and opening， private colleges in ourcountry to recover and thrive， effectively alleviate the higher education demandgrowth and the problem of insufficient education resources， to made a greatcontribution of higher education in China. At present，private higher education in ourcountry has begun to take shape， and become an important force of colleges anduniversities in our country. Private colleges in our country， however， greatachievements have been obtained at the same time it still has a series of problems，these problems hindered the further development of private colleges. One of the mostprominent problem is funding constraints. This article first through the financingstatus of private colleges in Yunnan province， analyze its background and the courseof development， and the financing way of private colleges at present， and analyzesthe private college financing problem is the main reason for the further developmentof private colleges. Secondly， the our country the financing of private universities indeveloped countries such as America and Japan the financing of private colleges anduniversities were analyzed， and on this basis to learn. Finally， combining with theexperience of developed countries abroad and fully considering the concrete nationalconditions of our country put forward a preliminary strategy of financing privatecolleges in Yunnan province.
