With more and more fierce international competition, education plays animportant role in improving the national comprehensive competitiveness.Therefore, to improve the quality of education is imperative. The development ofbasic education depends on teachers. Therefore, many scholars pay close attentionto the imbalance of sex ratio of primary and secondary school teachers, and do a lotof research. Author notes the sex ratio imbalance of the normal college studentsfrom the phenomenon. Students in Normal school are the reserve force and the mainforce of the basic education in China. Then, unbalanced sex ratio of normal schoolstudents will inevitably lead to the whole imbalance of basic education teachers inthe sex ratio, and affect the overall quality level.The study that depends on the basis of the existing research results, withthe theoretical basis, researches the teachers’ gender imbalance systematically. Themain text is divided into four parts: the first part is about the description of normal sexratio imbalance; the second part, is about the serious hidden harm analysis of normalstudents sex imbalance, that is one of the key point in this text; the third part is aboutanalysis and discussion of the deep reasons of the normal sex ratio imbalance,that isthe other one of the key point in this text; the fourth part is about exploring and putingforward some suggestions, to further improve the normal education, in orderto promote the healthy development of basic education. The systematic research ofthe normal sex ratio imbalance is a useful complement to the existing teachereducation research, and helps to enrich the theory of teacher education. It also hasimportant realistic meaning to improve the current and potential imbalance ofteachers’ gender as well as the current education and teaching quality.I has found that normal sex ratio imbalance with potential harm is mainly relatedto the development of students and teachers team. To the level of teachers: reduce thestability of teachers of basic education; affect the normal order of school education;weaken teachers’ vigor and vitality in basic education; strengthenteachers’ occupation concept of low social status; strengthen patriarchycharacteristics of traditional society. To the level of students: It’s bad to the students’the comprehensive and healthy development in gender roles, personality, cognitiveability, communication, behavior and other aspects. Through the analysis of the problem, the author found that the fundamental reason was the influence of thetraditional social values. Therefore, the author gradually establishes theconcept of gender equality in the whole society by the function of education, policysupport and social media and other channels, which makes men and women awayfrom sexual discrimination in the field of occupation, and the men as teacher get thesocial recognition. The recommendations focus on the educational function.Specifically, open sex education curriculum; teacher training for gendereducation; improve the role model of gender bias in teaching material; the practice of"androgyny" personality education; strengthen emotional education ofteacher’s occupation.The research issues relates to the healthy development of basic education.Therefore, if the above recommendations can attract more and more outstanding meninto basic education, it will provide a "hard and soft" educational environment forbased education. If only it arouses the more social concern, it’s still theimportant value of the research.
