Mathematic assignment is an important section of Mathematics education. It’s an effective tool for monitoring the teaching and learning in class as well as a solution to helpstudents enhance the knowledge learned. In the process of new-curriculum reform, thereform for Mathematic assignment does not have clear guidelines. The traditional "one size fits all" assignments restrict the development of individuals and violate the requirement of focusing on the differences of students in the curriculum standard. Over time, the sup-erior may lose the opportunities to make progress and the poor may face with more di-fficulties in study. Eventually, the quality of education may be affected.Layered assignment is defined as classifying students reasonably according to students’ individual differences and then setting the different levels of assignments for the different levels of students, which tries to make the assignments consistent with students’ cognitive ability and promotes students’ overall development. Although teachers have realized the benefits of layered assignment in the process of assignment and assessment, they don’t know how to design good layered assignments. Therefore, the practical study on how to implement the layered assignments is a noteworthy project to develop education.Based on the theories of Gardner’s multiple intelligences scale, zone of proximal development (ZPD) and individualized teaching, this study tries to analyze the problems of the assignments for the middle-grade elementary students through taking investigation, analysis and statis-tical research to the learning of the middle-grade elementary students and the homework assigned by teachers.In order to ensure the pertinence and validity of research, we first entered the three primary schools in Jintan City, sample selection part of middle grade students and teachers, respectively analyz their homework and assignments.. In order to further study the layout, present situation and the part of students and teachers’ interview to understand the current grade math homework:Homework difficult to take care of the needs of all students in the number, form and the difficult easy degree; students of mathematics and operations in different attitude; teachers are lack of power industry design, which is a new treatment stratification job design concept shown at etc.. Combined with the analysis of educational background behind it.Secondly, according to the survey presents strategic suggestions of some layered operation implementation, firstly, from the theoretical level from the primary school grade mathematics homework design principle, the stratified operation designed to implement the hierarchical, subjectivity, interesting, diverse and open principle. Secondly, combined with the investigation of the problems found, respectively from the student stratification, the stratification, stratification and homework assignments to the difficulty of target and operation evaluation on the aspects of the hierarchical operation design strategies. At the same time, this paper also combining some cases from the practice level prospect operation and used to verify the proposed strategy.
