With the further deepening of new curriculum reform, there is the trend that people raise their voices into high humanities. Humanities are of great significance for Science teachers in the professional growth and locating role, for implementation of new curriculum reform and social development. Especially that is meaningful for students'overall development and healthy personality, which can not be ignored. After research on lots of references, what is found is that the humanities of normal students (free education for these normal students of science), who will be the Science educators in front-line in future, have long been studied. But researches were not systematic, not completed, not good enough. What's more, the majority of normal students for the Science of humanities more generality, more inclined to include the humanities in the research of Science Literacy fully. The purpose of this paper is studying the Humanities of normal students for Science systematically in order to deepen the quality of humanities content of Science normal students. Further, the status of Science normal students'Humanities can be described clearly. Based on the data and theory analysis, the ways to improve and optimize Humanities of normal students'for Science was reached.Firstly, the topics'importance was elaborated in four areas, including its influence on theory and practice, its importance for the nature of the new curriculum, its importance for science teachers' professional development and its social impact. Especially, in facing the challenges of the new curriculum, the role of Science normal students must be converted to play their own important nature, and humanities of normal students for the Science should refer to a new level. After lots of literatures survey and practical demonstration, the meaning of normal students for Science was determined. Humanities of normal students for Science should have the following contents:possess extensive cultural knowledge, especially the knowledge of Science History; and then heritage the rich cultural their own personality, temperament, knowledge and training, and can use it to maintain professional dignity, value, hold the fate, pursuit their deals, concern human nature; ultimately, own the ultimate human care. In the paper, these are discussed in four aspects:deep and extensive cultural heritage, fluent language skills, good personality traits and the ultimate human care.Based on the study, the survey was divided into three aspects:humanistic knowledge, humanistic spirit and humanistic activity. Humanistic knowledge is the foundation, and the core of Humanities is humanistic spirit, humanistic activity is the action. The main methods of investigation to investigate are questionnaires and interviews to Science normal students. Through investigation and analysis, the following conclusion was reached:normal students for the Science form four subjects that are mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology, their humanistic knowledge were not significantly different, apart from the knowledge relation to the professional fields.The overall humanistic quality has a distance to national requirements and career needs. The main questions are as follows:First, humanistic human knowledge, part of the humanistic knowledge is confusion, and their understanding of the history, philosophy, aesthetics, philosophy are more facile; the second reason is humanistic spirit, theirs are at sea, a confusion situation; thirdly, most humanistic activity is the behavior of individual centers, and that is means lacking collective spirit. After compilation and analysis all the investigation and data, the reason why the situation not be optimistic is mainly due to the shackles of the objective environment, including the educational evaluation system, the employer needs, the utilitarian social environment, etc. Resulting in the confusion, frustration and helpless in Science normal students, and they neglect to learn and have the strong utilitarian. So their humanities are lower.Science normal students'humanities are lower and that worrying situation must to be improved from the following three major aspects:Firstly, establish the learning concept, broadening the field of study; secondly, strength cultural atmosphere, nurturing human spirit, creating the perfect personality; thirdly, improve mechanism and evaluation system in Teachers Education in College for Science normal students.
