Mathematics comes from life and serves life, so mathematics teaching should attach importance to the relationship between math and practice and develop the students'practical awareness and ability. However, in our country, the relationship between math and practice and the relationship between math and other subjects are not paid enough attention to. As a result, many students'awareness is not strong in Senior High School. So it is necessary to strengthen math application teaching in Senior High School.The thesis is divided into six parts. Firstly, the first two parts respectively introduce the background, the meaning and the present situation at home and abroad in the research on math application teaching in Senior High School, which states the necessity of the research and lets us know the research achievements and existing problems at present. Then, in the third and fourth parts, the theory of the research and the related strategies are introduced respectively, which offers theory basis for carrying out the research. The fifth part states the specific processes of the research. Lastly, the sixth part draws a conclusion and gives some related teaching suggestions.Questionnaire and teaching experiment methods are adopted in the research on math application teaching in Senior High School.In the empirical research, two questionnaires are designed, aimed at studying the condition of math application teaching in Senior High School. Teachers and students are asked to fill in the questionnaires separately. Many problems are found in the investigation. Many math teachers in Senior High School don't pay enough attention to math application teaching and teaching methods are out of date. Many students'awareness is not strong enough. The students'ability of solving math application problems is weak. The reasons are as follows: math application teaching is not paid attention to in math teaching; math teaching resources are insufficient; math application teaching methods are out of date; the students lack ways of solving math application problems. The proposed solutions are as follows:develop math teaching resources; carefully choose and write math questions; improve math teaching methods; carry out solving math problems training.Teaching experiment method is carried out, based on the questionnaire. The content of the experiment is series of numbers and inequality problems. Choose two different classes as an experimental class and a common class. In the common class, routine teaching is carried out while in the experimental class solving math application problems strategy training is carried out. The main training measures are as follows:1. Guide the students to make an induction of math application problems and learn the common models of math application problems.2. Guide the students to make a plan of solving math application problems.3. Ask the students to describe the process of solving math application problems by themselves.4. Ask the students to make their ideas clear and control and adjust their own thinking process.5. Guild the students to check and review their own thinking process and summarize success and shortcoming.Through one term's experiment, checking the two classes'results, and figuring out and analyzing the results, a conclusion is drawn: during the math application teaching in Senior High School, carrying out math application problems strategy training can greatly improve the student's ability of solving math application problems. |
