Finland Inclusive Education - History, Present Situation And Revelation

From the beginning of the nineties of the 20th century, Inclusive Education has been officially put forward. Some international countries began to explore positively and utilized the philosophy to guide their practice. Finland has achieved notable education not only about the understanding but the practice of Inclusive Education. Finland took measures which included the education system, education evaluation, management mechanisms and training for teachers to ensure the advance of Inclusive Education. These measures obtained marked results. Meanwhile, the Inclusive Education of Finland proved a fact to the international education that the differences between individuals and the quality of education are not contradictory. Our country also explored positively the educational practice of learning in regular class all-in-one in order to let disabled children have chance to learn and grow with ordinary children for eliminate isolation. Learning in regular class all-in-one has achieved certain progress, but it has a certain distance to reach the required standard of Inclusive Education. It has a long way to go for reach the genuine Inclusive Education.
