With the current and future development and reform of foundational education, the school running autonomy will be further enhanced and the school will play an increasing important role. As an important part of school reform, school-based curriculum has become the important topic of the school's development and research.But history belongs to the humanities. The history education should not only helps develop students literacy in humanities but also provides as much all-around knowledge storage as possible. The development of school-based curriculum secondary history can be fully involved with the specific of the school and the diversity of the curriculum and the requirements of students'development to function characteristically in satisfying the needs of the students'personization with its unique humanistic spirit, which is supposed to be stressed in the next curriculum reform.However, the theory and method of the current development of school-based curriculum are mostly based on general curriculum theory, lack of professional background, which result in little guidance in the development of school-based curriculum in various professional stage especially in the specific definition and models of the concept of the development of school-based curriculum.Based on the background of the new curriculum reform in Jiangsu province and the practice of the development of history school-based curriculum in Wujiang city high schools, the article probes into the concept of the development of history school-based curriculum, as well as the four basic thoeries of patriotism, humanism, constructivism philosophy, re-schoolization with the exploitation of school-based text book "the Historic Sites in Wujiang High School". Based on this, the article throws light on the main process of the exploitation of the school-based text book "the Historic Sites in Wujiang High School"and gives it a thorough analysis and evaluation. This paper analyzes in detail the advantages of "the Historic Sites in Wujiang High School": improving students comprehensive quality, promoting the development of teachers professional knowledge and inheriting the Confucian culture and Confucianism and promoting the formation of school cultural features. In addition to the analysis above, it gives three disadvantages of "the Historic Sites in Wujiang High School": teachers participation and ability is insufficient; the restriction from exam-oriented education and the development of school-based curriculum; the insufficiency of the breadth and depth of the integration of the sources of courses. Accordingly, this paper puts forward three suggestions on the concept, mechanism and teacher training for sustainable development of the school-based text book "the Historic Sites in Wujiang High School" and also provides a great reference for the development of general school-based curriculum of history.
