Economic globalization poses a challenge to the development of our country. As a developing country intended to one of the key goals of development is to enhance the comprehensive nation power. But in our country, there is such a huge population. In order to realize a fast development, we have to change the huge population burden into huge human resources and enhance the quality of the whole population. The enhancement of the quality of the population relies on education, while the development of education depends on the teachers. So building an army of high quality teachers becomes a must.The reform of new courses in the preliminary education is a reflection of educational reform touched off by economic and social development in the realm of preliminary education. It is the requirement of the age, the reflection of the educational development and an opportunity for the quality enhancement of the teachers. The implementation of new courses is both a challenge and an opportunity for the primary teachers. If one can actively adapt to the requirement of the reform in the new courses and voluntarily devote himself to the process of new course construction and educational behavior updating, he will surely become a good teacher in the new age. Since the implementation of the new courses, in order to adapt the masses of the middle school and primary school teachers to the new system, the educational authority paid specially attention to the training of the aforementioned teachers.A period of more than ten years has passed by and the training has yielded some sweet fruits. There has appeared a flock of teaching experts, specialists and masters. But there are also some problems and the present training model can not effectively cater to the training needs of most teachers on post.This paper, after a comprehensive study of the continual education model at home and abroad, finds that most of the studies try to build a diversified training model. This paper, stepping from the former studies, tries to explore continual education models suitable for new courses reform.This paper gives an in-depth analysis of the main problems appeared since the implementation of the new courses,namely the outdated educational guidelines unsuitable for the new course reform,the theorization trend in the continual education unsatisfying the practical needs of the teachers,the unification of the training organizations catering not the to the comprehensive needs of the teachers,the negligence of the characteristics in adults education,and the ineffective application of modern informational technology in the training.As there are so many problems in the training,in order to solve them and to implement the next turn of teacher training, this paper,under the guidelines of effectiveness,pertinence,conditionality,flexibility and on the base of continual education theory,adults training theory,humanism and professional development theory of teachers, and according to the profession development needs of the teachers under the background new course reform and the current training recourses,reaffirms four effective continual educational models,namely teacher training organizations——new course training model,university——teacher career development model, middle-primary school——teacher research capability training model,teacher——self-reliant and self-motivated development model.The implementation status of the aforementioned models is also discussed in details in the paper.
