The mathematical coupling ability cultivating in high school students is conforming to the social development and the trend of new curriculum reform. It helps students actively construct knowledge, promotes the teachers' teaching efficiency and acquire greater classroom achievements.This research focuses on the combination of theoretical study and practical teaching, applies timely the experimental research findings to classroom teaching and in return links the new problems in the routine teaching with the research, and as a result, deepens the research. The research hereof, through research and experiment, mainly explores the basic rules of how to cultivate the mathematical coupling ability of high school students, types of teaching organization and forms of activities of the students. At the same time, it also puts forward the concept of the three-dimension- purpose integration, which is of profound guidance to high school mathematics teaching. This study intends to promote the change of teachers' concept and the ways of teaching. It also promotes the change of the students'approach to learning, and provides valuable experience for the promotion of curriculum reform. The research hereof has great value both practically and theoretically. The research sets out from the following four aspects:1. Summary of the main research findings of the coupling ability;2. Fundamental probes into the teaching theory of mathematical coupling ability cultivation; putting forward the strategy construction of the cultivation of mathematical coupling ability of high school students under the background of the curriculum reform; analysis of the feasibility of the construction from the perspective of internal coupling and external coupling; putting forward the teaching method and teaching strategy based on coupling learning.3. Putting forward the teaching design conceiving of cultivating the mathematical coupling ability in high schools; emphasis on the concrete measures to cultivate the mathematical coupling ability from the aspects of conception, theory, principle, skills, mathematical way of thinking, and "covert goals" .4. Carrying out experimental research into the cultivation of the mathematical coupling ability of high school students; presentation of primary findings of the experimental research said above. This research adopts both qualitative and quantitative methods, which give interactive support and interactive complement. The research hereof shows that the guineapig classes have similar performance to the other classes before the experimental process. After the experimental teaching, however, significant differences have arosen, i.e., the assessment results are superior to the comparative classes. This has proved that the method of cultivating the students'mathematical coupling ability is of sound modification to the traditional teaching method. It has realistic feasibility, and is harmonious with the tendency of the curriculum reform and goes well with the new curriculum idea. It helps promote the all-round development of the students and guides the professional development of the teachers. Although faced with a number of negative factors, the booming of the new curriculum reform and the teachers'persuit of effective mathematics teaching reasonably gives us the belief that the method of cultivating the mathematical coupling ability in high school students has eternal motivation and vast expanding space. And it is sure to strike the most emphasized musical note of the symphany of the mathematics teaching reform.
