Rural left-behind children refer to those who age from 6 to 18,left in the household registration site and be taken care of by the custody of one of their parents or other guardians because one or both of their parents as migrant workers were unable to take care of them and leave them in the hometown. Rural left-behind children is the new social group in transition period of our country social development. These children will be the emergence of various psychological and behavioral problems when their parents are absent. So the problem of their development has aroused widespread concern in society. In nature, the issue of rural left-behind children is the defection of left-behind children's family education, and so researching the issue of rural left-behind children's family education has important practical significance. In this thesis the methods of survey, document, interview, case-analyzing, condensed questionnaire and others are mainly used.Based on the rural left-behind children's real life and family education, the problems which have been in it were analyzed. In the first chapter of this thesis, the source of subject and concepts concerned are mainly introduced. In the second chapters, some schools from Jinglong, Longzhou county are the objectives of the observation. It's surveyed that the proportion the left-behind children among all the children is the biggest, especially the proportion of the left-behind children whose parents are both absent. Incomplete family structure of rural left-behind children causes the change in family function and family relationships. The absence in family management brings about many problems of left-behind children psychologically and emotionally. In the third chapter, the author analyzes the background in which the family education of rural left-behind children lies from macro and micro aspects. In addition ,the article reveal reasons and problems of family education in border area of Guangxi province from family structure, family function, family relationships, family roles, family values and family management with much angle of vies such as pedagogy, psychology and sociology of family. In the fourth chapter, the author puts forward some suggestions, trying to solve the problems above in the second chapter.
