On The Construction Of A New Model Of China's Anti-drug Management Of Airport Port

As globalization continues apace, the increasing drug crimes have become a public issue throughout the world. Drug cannot be controlled thoroughly with the effort of a single country. In recent years, although the anti-drug organizations in our country make great efforts on narcotics enforcement, the problem of drug smuggling at airport is still growing more and more serious while opening up. The existing management mechanism of anti-drug organizations shows its limitations facing drug-smuggling of small-scale but high frequency. Therefore, it is urgent to reestablish the management mode of anti-drug-smuggling.This article discusses the limitations of the existing management mode of anti-drug-smuggling in three parts.First, it explains the difficulties of anti-drug-smuggling nowadays at airport with the examples of 12 drug-related criminal cases cracked down by Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport Customs.Second, it illustrates the limitations of the existing management mode of anti-drug-smuggling by analyzing its construction and running mechanism.Finally, it introduces the experiences of anti-drug-smuggling and drug control all over the world as well as the method to establish a new management mode of anti-drug-smuggling.Although many problems still exist, the narcotics enforcement in our country is catching up with those in developed countries, since our government has realized the importance of drug-control's globalization. The anti-drug-smuggling management system will be improving constantly.
