The international situations had changed a lot comparing with the previous two decades in the late 60s and early 70s of 20th century, the overall situation in the had developed from world-wide cold war to regional detente. Because of the change of international and domestic situations, Sino-USSR relations changed from brother-allies to hostility and even head-on collision day by day but with Nixon's administration's coming US-Soviet relations from strategic confrontation gradually became ambiguous close; the Sino-US relation changed from stalemate, isolation to release and contact—Nixon's successful visit to China marked the period reached the peak of development of bilateral relations. Although relations between the two countries during this period could not make further substantial development, even with Nixon's resignation, the normalization process into a moment of stagnation. But Nixon was the outcome of the development of Sino-US relations should not be overlooked: it was from both sides of contact and co-operation for the late arrival of an early normalization of Sino-US relations and laid a solid foundation. The general view was that the detente of Sino-US relations, should majority due to pressure from the development of national survival and maintenance of the balance of power hegemony the two countries'decision makers were forced to compromise national interests, unessential real desire—the subjective and objective factors in the decision to promote or make decisions. However, I think that such a view ignores some extent subjective and objective factors on the dynamic role of the environment, and U.S. policy makers ignored the subjective changes in the international environment should be a stress response. During this period, the key decision makers of the Sino-US relations were Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Nixon, Kissinger. Therefore, the studies on these four thoughts of foreign policy makers had an important significance for the historical reasons of Sino-US relation's detente. From the 60's to 70's, Mao Zedong's diplomatic thoughts went through from the "two line strategy" (against the Soviet Union also anti-American)& to "a large line strategy" (joint United States against the Soviet Union) and the "three worlds strategic ". The autonomy of the precondition to seeking truth from facts as the keynote to the main theme of the struggle against hegemony, to the ultimate goal of peaceful coexistence. American nation and its internal thinking was different: it more focused on reality to develop China's diplomatic strategy. In principle, Mao always insisted independent, the national security and national interests firstly, not engage in external aggression and expansion, this was his main line of diplomatic thought. However, in methodology, not a fixed Mao Zedong's diplomatic thoughts, not some diplomatic mode, all change according to the situation at that time to decide. Thoughts on Sino-US relations have in fact included in the report. Similarly, Zhou Enlai was against imperialism and hegemony "revolutionary" foreign policy simply; his independence, the principle of peaceful co-existence of diplomatic thought shows that opposes any outside interference, but also to promote, regardless of the object, the position of equality and mutual benefit relations - and these contains the attitude of the United States; and its realistic style, seek common ground of thought, it is open for the opening of Sino-US relations and the development of the theory and practice point to the path.In terms of the United States, changing attitudes with China in Nixon's administration, due to the pragmatism of its foreign thinking means thinking and realism, including the "Nixon Doctrine" was also the launch for the need to maintain U.S. hegemony; to ease as the main form of "a new peace strategy" which was considered a chain set, not only with competitors to expand economic and cultural ties, but also political detente, through negotiated a series of treaties and agreements to entangle opponents. But one thing was certain, Nixon's attitude toward China and the world center of the new interpretation was based on its restructuring and ease the cold war the strategic determination of Sino-US relations. Nixon had a deep realization on the international community and China's participation in an international isolation of China was extremely dangerous at the time. As an important bridge to ease Sino-US relations Kissinger's foreign ideas to ease the impact on Sino-US relations was self-evident. Firmly believe that conservatism Kissinger that a "legitimacy" of the international order could not be separated form the next world power China's participation; stable and secure international system requires a balance of power as the main body of the balance of power . Therefore, in the next five-polar system, we must establish a balance of power that can be regarded as a balanced structure, which provided a necessary opportunity for ease with China.
