Undertakings Concentration means that, in order to achieve certain economic purpose, some undertakings, through certain methods, combine with each other or get control and impose significant impact on others. Concentration is meaningful for undertakings' developing and expanding. On the one hand, Undertaking Concentration is in favour of effectively allocating resource and facilitating society development; on the other hand, it also encourages competition among relevant undertakings, as it reminds the undertakings that they will be in risk of being merged if they cannot fit in the competitive environment. However, Concentration can make relevant undertakings strong enough to obtain market dominant position, which may change the market structure, limit market competition and harm the interest of other undertakings and consumers. Therefore, there should be legal regulation to supervise and control the concentration transactions with huge scale. All countries have regulated concentration transactions mainly through establishing a concentration notification legal system. After its Anti-monopoly Law and Provision of the State Council on the Standard for Declaration of Undertakings Concentration come into force, China has established a solid foundation for its concentration notification legal system. However, taking into account of the complexity of concentration transactions, comparing with the correspondent legal system in EU and US, China's concentration notification system does have a long way to go. Bearing this situation in mind, the author of this dissertation try to comprehensively analyse and introduce the concentration notification system, and raise some recommendation for current system of China.
