Group Events refers to some actions which beyond current social regulations in social activities of our nation. It is an unconformity and unharmonious appearance in social relationship. It has jeopardized and affected the balance of our society, is becoming a limiting factor for building harmonious society. Consequently effective prevention and response group events have become a major task for current society. The writer discussed that strengthen the theoretical research grasping the cause and effect and effective prevention of group events. This thesis comprises four parts. The first chapter analyzed the definition, progress and the characteristics of the Group Events. Group Events refer to a certain type of the action for a certain purpose taking by a certain group with common interests. The action is to impose the pressure on political and administrative units, devastate financial order, imperil personal security and disturb normal social orders in terms of peaceful sit-in, assault, demonstration, assembly etc. Group Events is diversified, variant, purposeful, well-planned and unexpected. The second part analyses the origin of group events. The main factors are root, culture, fundamental issue, political issue, system issue and starting issue. The third part is the establishment of a comprehensive system of collective preventive mechanisms, focusing on the purpose, content and contingency plans of preventive mechanisms. The fourth part is a scientific and effective mechanism for handling group events, adequately expounding the disposal of groups of basic principles, procedures of disposal methods, rehabilitation mechanisms as well as law enforcement strategies of legal measures and law enforcement judicial organs, which propose a targeted solution.
