After the ending of the cold war, China and Russia have had great achievement in security cooperation with their relationship development. The security cooperation is not only in the traditional security domain, including military security and political security, but also in the non-traditional security domain, including the cooperation on striking splittism, terrorism and ultraism, energy resource security and environment security. Besides, the security cooperation between China and Russia also developed from bilateral cooperation to multilateral cooperation, which will impel the security cooperation between China and Russia to the region and world.The security cooperation between China and Russia is on the base of the national interests of them becoming similar, which is reflected on the same strategic interests and security interests between the two nations. The same national interests decide the possibility of the security cooperation between China and Russia. Of course, there are certain differences between Chinese national interests and Russian national interests, which is the potential obstacle for their security cooperation. Therefore, strengthening their security cooperation that based on the same national interests and reducing even eliminating the security hidden trouble that based on their different national interests, would be the important part of relationship development of China and Russia.This paper wants to analyze the security cooperation between China and Russia after the ending of the cold war under the view of national interests, and give some suggestions for the future security cooperation between China and Russia through studying the same and different national interests of them.
