The period from autumn 1910 to 1921 is the time that Mao Zedong's thought changed a great deal , and also the important time that his ethical thought and political thought formed and developed. During this time, he gave a deep consideration about the social reality. On the basis of absorbing traditional Confucian culture of china, modern enlightening thoughts and western moral thought, he put forward the "New National Theory" thought, that is, those who want to change the world must change the mind of the people, and we should remold the philosophy, remold the ethics, completely alter the thinking of the people. This thought based itself on the theory of "great noumenon and source". It aimed to shift the quantity of the demos and transfer the moral and customs, and had the concrete methods of emphasizing education, organizing parties, cultivating oneself and restoring one's ability. In order to remodel the society though inflecting the new people, he also proposed an ideal people's quality model which had the " three required moralities " as its main content.Young Mao Zedong' thought had both the common characteristics of that time and its own individual characteristics. It gradually grew to his political thought, and formed a main line which connected his thought development. Comprehending young Mao Zedong's "New National Theory" thought will benefit us to grasp Mao Zedong's thought system. At the same time, Young Mao Zedong' proposal of that moral, intelligence and physical training are of the same importance has an significant theoretical and realistic meaning to our people's quality education and construction of the "harmony society".
