The Rural Way Of Life In The Public Culture From The Perspective Of Change

With the development of the economy and the advancement of society, the living standard in rural area improves quickly and the peasants begin to pay attention to the improvement of the living quality which will definitely transform the peasants'life-style. There are presently a huge amount of researches on life-style in rural area, which is quite influential. But among these researches, few are focused on the transformation of life-style in rural China from the perspective of public culture.Public culture belongs to the category of public article in nature; and the transformation of the life-style in rural area can not be completed without the construction of public culture. The construction of new life-style in rural area is a significant aspect of the construction of new culture of new villages.Meanwhile there exists certain inherent logic connection between the transformation of public culture and that of the life-style in rural area. Development of public culture is the important aspect of construction of new villages, and the transformation of the life-style in rural area is also the essential to the construction of new villages. Therefore, the construction of new villages are supposed to be the bonds between the transformation of public culture and that of the life-style in rural area.By pushing the development of public culture and improving the service system of public culture ,it will help to enhance the quality of the population in rural area and benefit for the transformation of peasants'view of life, which thereby will speed up the pace for transforming the life-style and realizing the modernization in rural area.This thesis is divided into four chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the previous researches on the transformation of the life-style in the countryside and the author's special perspective on which his own research is based. In the first section of this chapter, the author realizes the necessity for researches on the transformation of the life-style in rural area after studying the existing researches. Then in the second section, the author put forward his perspective of public culture, from which the author discusses the cultural factor affecting the transformation of the life-style in rural area.Chapter 2 is about the relevance between the life-style in rural area and public culture. The first section in this chapter introduces the track about the life-style changes in rural area, set forth the fundamental characteristic on life-style, and look forward to the life pattern in future. The second section describes the effect that public culture promotes the transformation of life-style in rural area, and proves this standpoint by theory and practice.Chapter 3 refers to the current situation of development on public culture in our country. The first section not only depicts the condition that public culture in rural area develops at present in details, but also points out its defects. The second section expounds the present situation about the service system of public culture in rural area, and summarizes several problems.Chapter 4 describes the relations between the fully development of public culture and the transformation of life-style about peasant. The first section in this chapter explain that the public culture lacking development restrict the transformation of the life-style and the improvement of the culture quality in countryside; and affect the enthusiasm of rural residents who transfer the life-style. The second section, according to what causes the immaturity of public culture, puts forward several constructive suggestions to enhance the development of public culture, to improve the service system of public culture and to push the transformation of the life style in rural area.
