Power, Discipline And Resist

Power undoubtedly not only consists of the most important part of Michel Foucault's theories, but has also been being discussed in the academic fields for many years . However, there are still some divergences and misunderstandings about power , especially micro-power , because the problems or fields Foucault showed the interest in were always changeable and various . For that reasons , to reveal the truth of power is not only the line through this thesis , but also the main purpose of ours . Besides , it is also this paper's aim to probe into the possibility of putting it into practice and the significances it will play in our socialist construction of modernization . Therefore , in order to make the above aims become true , we will systematically research into micro-power from the several aspects of concept, the evolutionary process , the possibility of practical utilization and comments on it . In addition , we will contrast micro-power with traditional power so as to make micro-power characteristics stand out. As far as micro-power genealogy is concerned , we will pay more attention to explaining and analyzing micro-power's characteristics , origins , as well as causes in the evolutionary process . By this way , we can see the power ,which lies in different periods ,has both the intervals and logical relationships . With the help of above investigations ,we try to put the new theory into practice for routine combat so that the truth of power can be further exposed when we examine the significance and reflection about utilization.
